It was great meeting up with the brand new Seniors Health Advocate - Dan Levitt.
Thank-you to Local Senior advocate Sandy Zeznik for the invite (seen below receiving a recognition award).
It was an excellent opportunity to discuss the terrible place we find some of our seniors today. Resource groups from around Kootenay East including Age-Friendly BC, Better at Home, Senior Action Group, Cranbrook Food Bank as well as many advocates for seniors were on hand.
These are real issues in Kootenay East and ones that government needs more focus on. I will continue to work with all of these great resources.

To all the great folks in the most westerly community of Kootenay East - Moyie. What a great picture.A rare shot along Moyie Lake with Moyie City in the back ground taken on the old Cranbrook to Creston Road exactly 100 years ago in 1924. See the other pic from this early cross Canada tour in the pictures below.

From the Lincoln Highway Digital Collection.

Another great season for the Cranbrook Bucks and the Cranbrook Bucks Fan Club. It was almost the comeback of the year in the series against West Kelowna. Being down 3 games to 0 only to lose in a hard fought game 7. The players and staff should be very proud of themselves. We all look forward to another great season. #FeartheDeerTo our fans, THANK YOU for all your support during the 2023-24 season!

A spectacular effort being down 3-0 and fighting back to 3-3 ….sad to lose game 7 but the team should be very proud of the effort
