Remembrance Day in the Elk Valley saw some outstanding citizens lay the provincial wreath on my behalf.
In Elkford it was the citizen of the year Renie Porter as well as Terry Vandale.
In Sparwood it was Santo Rocca doing the honours with painted rocks from wife Rosa and the seniors community.
In Fernie it was Steve Thompson representing to a small invited crowd.
I want to thanks all of these folks for honouring our veterans on behalf of the province of BC.
